Food for fines at Pittsfield Library | Arts & Culture

PITTSFIELD - In ceebration of Nation Library Week, The Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's public library, will offer a fine amnesty from April 9-14.

During this time the library will accpet non-perishable food items in lieu of paying fines for overdue books.

The donation will only take care of fines for late or overdue items, not for the replacement of lost or damaged materials.
