Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute are offering an intensive digital photography workshop on July 30 and 31.
In “Focus on Nature,” photographer Allen Rokach will guide participants in the limitless possibilities of digital nature, landscape, garden, and flower photography.
Through lectures, field sessions, review sessions, and individual consultations, participants will receive in-depth instruction on enhancing their photographic skills. The price of the weekend workshop is $300 ($250 for members) and includes continental breakfast and box lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Enrollment for this workshop is limited to 20 students. Reservations may be made online or by calling 413-458-0524.
This two-day workshop is designed to help participants understand and apply the fundamental underpinnings of any fine photograph, including great light, proper and appropriate exposure, and filling the frame in a compelling manner.
Participants will explore the Clark's 140 acres of pastures, woodlands, meadows, and ponds, and will receive in-depth instruction on a variety of topics, including choosing the right lens for any situation and making the best use of light, creating exciting compositions, and using software programs to enhance photographic images.
