Man sentenced for raping teenage girls | News

A Pittsfield man will spend up to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting two young girls.

Aaron Tarjick was convicted Monday of 17 counts, including aggravated rape of a child.

Authorities say he assaulted the girls in Dalton, Becket and Middlefield between 2006 and 2010.

Both girls were under the age of 14.

They testified at trial.

As part of his sentence, Tarjick must also register as a sex offender.
