News

A Pittsfield man was recently arraigned in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.

Twenty-five year-old Jeremy Stanton of Morningview Drive pled not guilty to 1 count of trafficking in cocaine, 1 count of trafficking in oxycodone, 1 count of trafficking in methamphetamine/ecstasy, 1 count of conspiracy to violate drug laws, 3 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, 3 counts of possession of a firearm, rifle, or shotgun, and 3 counts of improper storage of firearms accessible to a minor.

The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office says the charges stem from the execution of six search warrants in Pittsfield on February 23.

Stanton was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $200,000 bail.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, North Adams, Williamstown and Great Barrington Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
